Vintage Carved Jade Brush Pot Washer Ink Stone Dish Calligraphy Asian Sumi-e

Description

Vintage or antique Brush Pot or Washer with matching Ink Stone Dish used for Calligraphy, drawing or Sumi-e, unsigned, no makers marks.
Made of carved nephrite jade in a very simple shape, then set in a frame of brass set with small carnelian or jade beads for legs.
The jade is translucent. Small chip on interior rim of cup (please see photos). The small bowl shows what looks to be small fractures in the stone. None reach with the back surface, but there are some fine lines where they reach the top surface. I’ve tried to photograph this in several different lighting conditions to show everything.
Cup measures approximately 3.25 inches high (82mm), 2.5 inches wide (60mm) at metal base, not including beads. Dish measures approximately 3.5 inches 89mm) wide and 1 inch tall (25mm)
