Kny-Scheerer manufactured a line of surgical instruments until about 1925. Before WWI used a crowned snake around a scepter as its trademark. This set has 7 pieces marked this way. The set is similar to B9022 found on page 2306 of the 1915 Kny-Scheerer catalog https://archive.org/details/illustrationsofs00knys/page/2306. The set also includes an envelope with 13 suture needles and some silk suture thread. The set also includes a probe market "WEDER - PHILA.". It also includes a scalpel labelled "CAMILLUS" and on the other side "UNI.NEB.ANAT." Case closed is approximately 6 inches by 3 inches by 3/4 inches.
