  • Condition: The figurine is in overall very good vintage condition with no major chips or cracks. There are some very tiny areas of missing paint and/or tiny chips on a few of the angels wings. One area is seen in picture #11 angel wing missing paint on edge of wing (closest to the boy wi/patches on his paints). There is a tiny chip on an angel wing on the one closest to the left of the dog. It is an easy fix and could be touched up if desired or left in it's vintage condition. The piece has age to it and you will find variations that run throughout since it is handcrafted. Please visit all our photographs as they are considered part of the description. Item sold as is.

    This Peruvian folk art terracotta clay piece depicts the "Storyteller" which features a woman with long braids and hat, dove on her shoulder and a black and white dog at her feet.  She is telling a story to four angels that are present; along with three children. A truly unique handcrafted/painted Peruvian treasure and you will not find many like this particular piece to include angels.
    Dimensions approximately are as follows:
    Height: Tallest point base to top of hat 5" Lowest point base to top of toes: 1 1/4"
    Length 5 1/4" x Width 3 1/4".
