  • Condition: Large bowl featuring heart or strawberry pattern sawtooth scalloped edge and 2" x .25" foot c. 1930s. Good condition surface signs of use wear / rubbing just below rim no chips or cracks.

    Description

    Imperial NuCut bowl very large at 4 lbs and 10 inches in diameter at the mouth and standing 5 inches tall. It has a sawtooth scalloped rim and a small foot at the base. The pattern is rare I found very few similar; sometimes called heart pattern, looks like a strawberry pinwheel to me. I believe it dates from the early 1930s. Some signs of use wear around the just below the rim in places where you would handle the bowl, glass appears rubbed perhaps from repeated washing.
