The Baltimore Pear pattern has an extensive history. The pattern was first introduced in 1874 by Adams & Co, using crystal non-flint glass. In 1891 US Glass reissued the pattern making table sets, bowls and other serving dishes. In the 1950s Westmoreland made marked milk glass items. Jeannette Glass also in that time period, made several pieces of glassware in milk glass, pink shell and crystal. Imperial Glass used the pattern in their glassware in the colors of crystal, crystal satin, cranberry stain, orange, ruby and verde green.
