Imperial Glass Ohio WHEAT (ENAMEL) 80pc Vintage Estate Set in EXCELLENT, like new condition!!
ALL PIECES INCLUDED ARE FREE OF CHIPS AND CRACKS!! There are no utensil scratches of signs of use on any of it; just a washing and the set will be like brand new! The chrome plated lid of the shaker shows minimal wear to its finish as a result of sitting for so long, but it adds to the vintage look more than anything.
These pieces are believed to have been stored away, unused for several decades. Every piece is of the same, VERY unique and super cool enameled Wheat pattern by Imperial Glass. The pattern appears to depict a wheat field, filled with tall, yellow stocks of wheat and rows of grass dotted with white, red, and blue flowers. Each piece is trimmed in yellow.
The set has a vintage look and feel that is not possible to recreate with anything made in the past 40 years. The raised enamel dots of each flower and wheat illustrate the craftsmanship we allude to that has long departed us.
The set is produced on Imperial's stem #110, also known as their 'twist' line. Enameled patterns from Imperial were scarce and produced for a very short period of time.
The new owner of this set will enjoy knowing no one can quite recreate what they have acquired and displayed with pride at their next social gathering.
