Up for sale is this CARPENTIER-EDWARDS BIOPROTHESIS
"HEART VALVE"
American Edwards Laboratories
It is in Gel filled glass globe, and mounted to a wooden base
I don't know how much gel is suppose to be in this display, but it is about 3/4" of the way full. There are no signs of leakage
The only information I found was a photo showing this same display and it said "National Museum of Natural History"
I think it is circa 1980's
The base measures 3 1/4"W x 4 3/8"L x  2"H
The Globe is approx 3"
Overall height is approx 4 1/4"
There is  protective plastic skin still on the lable
