Item Description:
For sale today is a set of five adapter board sets
that convert new Bourns 45mm slide pots to fit the footprint of the old CTS POTs used in ARP synthesizers. These will work in the OMNI, AXXE, AVATAR, ODYSSEY, PRO SOLOIST, PRODGX, and SEQUENCER.  The first picture is of one of the actual adapter board sets. The next three are the assembled adapter and the adapters installed on OMNI boards (OMNI boards not included). The adapters will come with assembly instructions. These adapter boards are not RoHS compliant so there are no international sales for now.

The Bourns slide POTS required are also not included and are available with various colored LEDs. The LEDs are interchangeable and can be replaced by similar LEDs available on EBAY in auction number 121774211919.  Just search for the number...

Where the X is color, R=Red, A=Amber, O=Orange, W=White, G=Green
The 0 after the X (color) is for no center detent. Change to a 1 for a center detent.
The main adapter board has two pads for the LED on the slide POT marked LED (+) and (-). LEDs of the same color can be connected in series by connecting the (-) on the first LED in the string to the (+) on the next and so on. Add up the forward voltage of each LED and subtract from the supply (usually 15V and 0V or 15V and -15V. Then for 5mA for example, the resistor needed is the remaining voltage divided by 0.005A. This method of driving the LEDs insures that all of the LEDs (of the same color)  get the same current and it also reduces the burden on the power supply vs driving the LEDs in parallel.
I also have a driver board available that can drive up to four strings of LEDs. This gives you independent control of the current (brightness) of the LED strings.
