>Offered here is an
old and original
1950's or 1960's Ciudad Juarez, Mexico
vintage
pennant
!!
Please see all
five
photos, as they are an important part of my description.
Buy-It-Now,
or "make a reasonable offer". From an outstanding estate, this pennant measures approximately 14 1/2" x 6 1/2", and includes four very long tassels. The pennant features soft orange felt with white felt trim; the silk-screened
"Juarez"
features very attractive, flowing letters. I believe the pennant to be from the 1950's or 1960's time period, based on the style of pennant and the great vintage estate sale I attended.
<>
History
:
Ciudad Juarez
is the most populous city in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The city is commonly referred to as simply
"Juarez"
, and was at one time known as
El Paso del Norte
. The city lies on the Rio Grande river, south of El Paso, Texas. Together with the surrounding areas, the cities form
El Paso-Juarez
, the second largest binational metropolitan area on the Mexico-U.S. border after San Diego-Tijuana.
<>
Condition:
in very *Fine Shape* overall, exhibiting a minimum of age/handling faults to include hard-to-see tack holes in the usual locations. The tip is solid! The pennant's colors remain strong on front and back!
